NCPTA/NCDOT Roadeo Committee

NCPTA/ NCDOT Roadeo Committee Co-Chairs:

The Roadeo is a joint venture of the NCPTA and NCDOT. The committee is comprised of representatives from urban and rural transit systems throughout North Carolina and from the NCDOT Public Transportation Division. The committee members are fully engaged in the development of the training and Roadeo schedule. In addition the committee is responsible for the planning, setup, promotion, and operation of the annual Roadeo event in compliance with the American Public Transportation Association Roadeo Standards.

Golf Outing Chair: Mike Lovett, Greene County
This committee is responsible for the annual “Tee Off for Transit” gold outing held the Sunday, prior to the kick off of the NCPTA Conference. The committee seeks to bring golfers together for a fun networking event “on the green.”
