Operations Committee
NEW COMMITTEES
NCPTA has established two new committees for 2012, to provide increased opportunities for the voices of large and small urban operators and small and rural operators to be heard. In keeping with the practice of other NCPTA Committees, these committees will meet regularly, have goals and objectives and actively work to pursue the achievement of their priorities.
Small Ops Committee
Chair:
Gwen Hinson, Stanly County
The Small Ops Committee serves as a catalyst to bring together small and rural systems for the purpose of identifying issues, responding to current or pending policies that impact the operators and delivery of service unique to rural and small operators. It is the intent that through the collective process, the Committee will seek solutions and take action through identifying best practices, generating a plan of action/response.
Large Ops Committee
Co-Chairs:
Randy Hume, Fayetteville,
Larry Kopf, CATS
This Committee serves as a conduit for engaging large and small urban systems in discussion forums to address concerns, best practices, responses to current or pending policies that impact the operations and delivery of service unique to their size and type of grants and funding received. It is the purpose of the Committee to seek solutions, develop strategies that can be addressed and supported by the full Association.and take action on the priorities agreed to by the Committee. |
